I dug out the most compelling examples of these combos to inspire you. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did, and I hope it encourages you to experiment with colours. Because after all these long grey months in lockdown we all desperately need a little pick-me-up.

The Best Colour Combinations to Rock in 2021

When you pick the right colour combination, it not only creates visual interest but also reflects a bit of your personality. While picking an outfit in a colour that best flatters your skin tone is important, it is equally important to combine colours in a way that creates a striking look.

We know it can be a struggle for you busy lot to fuel your imagination every time you want to get dressed up. So, we did some digging and brainstorming to come up with five fail-proof colour combinations to rock this season.

1. Baby Blue with Coral

Yeah, we can’t really enjoy a day on the beach in the current scenario. But we can definitely emulate the tones of the enticing ocean with our outfits. The calming cool blue that reminds us of the clear ocean waters partners perfectly with the warmth of corals and the evening sky. You can brighten the look further with white accessories like pearl drop earrings or a layered pearl necklace. You can check out the extensive collection of the iconic Australia for outfit gems in these colours.

2. Lime Green with Gray

Honey, it's 2021, and neon belongs more to our closets than by the streets. The lively lime green can feel a little daunting for colour-virgins but there’s nothing like it to brighten a dull day or look. For those of your testing the waters, put on a grey dress. Then, elevate the look with pops of lime green in the guise of a handbag, a pair of shoes, or even frames. And, for those of you who embrace colours bravely, a lime green pantsuit with grey accessories or a lime green bodysuit with grey bottoms is the way to go.

3. Brown with Beige

How can we get through a colour combination blog without paying our homage to the neutral Queens of the year? Think an all-neutral look is too boring? Well, we are here to convert you. A monochromatic neutral look is your creative avenue to play with adventurous textures and silhouettes. One of the biggest trends that is going to take 2021 by storm is leather. So, invest in a pair of pants or skirt in tan leather. Pair it with a chunky knitted sweater in beige. The glossy leather juxtaposes beautifully against the knitted fabric, creating a super chic look that’s sure to up your Insta game. Don’t leave the house without some glittering gold jewellery to accent this look.

4. Black with Pink

The edginess of black combines effortlessly with the soft femininity of pink to create a balanced yet striking look. We recommend going for a pink floral summer dress. And topping the cuteness off with a black leather jacket. If girly isn’t quite your thing, then go for a pink satin skirt and pair it with a black corset for a club-ready look.

5. Lilac and White

If there’s one colour combo in this list that screams spring, then it has got to be the lilac and white combo. Wear a bodycon dress in lilac and freshen up the look further with white shoes and accessories. You can even pair white linen bottoms with a lilac top for a laid back and beautiful look.

Now that you know the most interesting colour combos to don in 2021, time to go shopping to create outfits out of these colours.
